My journey into the world of copywriting was anything but conventional. After six dynamic years in the hallowed halls of the U.S. Senate—where the thought of a future in lobbying left me uninspired—I decided to reignite my passion for the written word.

Armed with a degree in journalism, I ventured into the vibrant realm of advertising, eager to explore new creative frontiers. That’s when I set my sights on the renowned Portfolio Center in Atlanta, a crucible for aspiring creatives.

Two years later, I emerged with a portfolio that opened doors to new opportunities. From my early days at
Joey Reiman in Atlanta to honing my craft at The Richards Group and DDB Needham in Dallas, I soaked up invaluable experience before taking the leap into freelancing.

This path has been a wild ride, allowing me to refine my skills as both an advertising impresario and a published short story writer and author of two books. As a true Jack-of-all-trades, I’ve navigated every corner of the ad industry—immersing myself in Brand, B2B, Promotions, Direct Marketing, and social media—while cultivating a diverse clientele that keeps my creative fire burning. When I’m not crafting compelling narratives, you’ll find me in the kitchen, continuing my quest for the perfect gumbo.
